We are excited to announce that CJ Beatty will be joining us in the Dominican Republic in June both as a coach and as a featured speaker for one of the evening sessions.

He moved on to attend North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University located in Greensboro, NC, where he majored in Business and catapulted his baseball career.

CJ’s accomplishments and accolades led him to be drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 26th round of the 2009 MLB June Amateur Draft from North Carolina A&T State University. He accredits some his life’s learned lessons of “Mental Toughness” from Albert Pujols, former first baseman of the St Louis Cardinals.

In addition to his baseball career, CJ has expanded his talents to including Motivational Speaking and Life Coaching. He specializes in teaching and inspiring people to believe in themselves while staying focused and committing to fulfill each challenge they pursue. Since 2009, CJ has traveled around the country including Australia delivering powerful messages. His speaking engagements include Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System Anti-Bullying Event, Wake Forest University Baseball Team, University of Virginia Football Team, Wheatmore High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Trinity, NC) and numerous others.

With the first round of the 5th Annual Cepeda Caribbean Classic tryouts being held in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex the last week of November now in the books, invitations to over 20 players were sent out. They say everything is bigger in Texas and the Lone Star State did not disappoint! The level of talent that came out to the four nights of tryouts has laid a foundation of what is sure to be some of our best Cepeda teams to date.

A big shout out to Paul Muse of Dbat Fort Worth and Midtown, Mark Garcia at the Batter’s Cave, and Mike Cress of the DFW Express for opening their incredible facilities to the Cepeda family. Northern California, Florida, and North Carolina get ready, you’re up next!

Elijah Bullard is a 13 year old from Bladenboro NC. His passion for Baseball has driven him to play the game since he was four years old. Elijah's first trip out of the US was in July when he flew to the Dominican Republic with the 12u Cepeda Bulls. During the Caribbean Classic Elijah was able to smack 3 home runs and pitch a few good innings. He is a utility player that enjoys playing all positions with his exceptional speed. This past Summer the 4th Annual Carribean Classic in the Dominican Republic was AWESOME... Frog Bullard as he is called by teammates and friends says he literally Loved the trip and experience. Cepeda's coaching Staff was top notch and coached with a love and passion for the game of Baseball. The Classic was a trip of a lifetime Elijah says. Elijah plays Travel ball with the Akadema Knights here in NC and during the Winter world series in Rocky Mount NC in the Championship game which the Knight's won he blasted a two-run Homer on 325 fences to end his season. His favorite team is the Yankees and his favorite player's list is really long. To any player or family considering trying out for the Classic trust me it's definitely worth the tryout, for the friends/memories we made, will be with our family forever. We TIP the hat to Coach Ali which we all love and exceptional staff/ family for a great experience" Frog says coach Russel Jacobs was the best".

Elijah "Frog" Bullard and family signing out in North Khakakalki as Ali would say.
